Tidysongs, and Tuneup are both great programs, you really should be satisfied with both of these programs if you are looking for an easy way to cleanup your iTunes library. But what are some of the down sides to each of these programs? What are people saying after they have tried them?
TidySongs review:
” This program did everything I wanted it to do, but I was not satisfied with one aspect of it. I wanted to fill in all of my song titles which is something that it apparently cannot do. I was very happy with the album art feature. In fact I have used the program called Tuneup Media, and even though Tuneup only filled out about 80% of my missing information, I thought that Tidysongs did a better job over all. The album artwork feature on TidySongs is far better then the album artwork feature on TuneUp. Plus, Tidysongs actually deletes the duplicates that I do not want to keep in my library automatically, this is something that TuneUp does not do in any way, shape, or form.”
TuneUp Media Review:
” Not happy with this product, first I tried to download the free trial and it would let me. All it kept doing was send me to the purchase page. I thought it was pretty clear that I wanted to try it first but it wouldn’t let me. I just went ahead and bought it anyway thinking that it was going to solve my problem, I had read a lot of reviews, and it seemed like a strong program that could do what I wanted it to. After trying the feature that I found to be the most important, the “Song title fill in names” feature, they can it the “Clean” feature. I found that it only filled in about 60% of my missing song names. This is too bad I thought because I could really find any other program out there that even claimed to be able to do this. I tried a couple more times and it didn’t get any better. I would still recommend it to anyone that has a mess of a library, just do not expect a complete over haul and you will be fine.”
