ITunes U.

ITunes U has a simplified way of making learning simpler and much more fun. Information can be able to be distributed to learners all over the world by just a click of the button, students and the faculty are having their work simplified thus enabling easy access and sharing of data.

ITunes U is accessible through iTunes; one can either download the ITunes U audio or video contents or subscribe to the entire course.   • The plug-ins is available and they are free and can be used to view streamlined files.
  • One can use podcast aggregator to subscribe to the course.

Disadvantages.

  • Uploading the files may take a long time.
  • It may lead to forming of ITunes duplicate more so when many files are downloaded.
  • To access the files one should have either QuickTime or real media plug-in in their computers.
  • Streamed media cannot be downloaded to portable device or students able to create a RSS feed on it.
